Die Gesellschaft für Ernährungsphysiologie (GfE) hat im September 2023 neue Versorgungsempfehlungen für Milchkühe herausgegeben. Diese sind mit der Festlegung neuer Systeme für die Energie- und Proteinbewertung verbunden. Es sind einige Herausforderungen zu meistern, bevor die neuen Empfehlungen zum Vorteil der Futtermittelwirtschaft und der landwirtschaftlichen Praxis systematisch angewendet werden können. Das FeedMagazine hat eine Serie von Artikeln in Vorbereitung, in denen die neuen Empfehlungen und ihre Implikationen erläutert werden. Den Auftakt macht dieser Beitrag. Er führt in übergreifender Weise in die neuen Empfehlungen ein und erläutert, welche Maßnahmen zur Vorbereitung der praktischen Anwendung erforderlich sind und bereits ergriffen wurden. In September 2023, the Society of Nutrition Physiology (GfE) issued new supply recommendations for dairy cows. These are linked to the establishment of new systems for energy and protein evaluation. There are several challenges to overcome before the new recommendations can be systematically applied to the advantage of the feed industry and agricultural practice. FeedMagazine is preparing a series of articles in which the new recommendations and their implications will be presented. This article kicks off the series by providing an overview of the new recommendations and explaining the measures required for preparing for practical application, some of which have already been taken.
